👨‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Ground Beef

  1. Place the ground beef in a bowl.
  2. Pour hot water over it (just enough to cover lightly).
  3. Let it sit briefly, then drain excess water if needed.
  4. Using a press or your hands, smash and loosen the meat.
  5. Shake it lightly with your hands to separate the texture.

Step 2: Make the Mixture

  1. Add to the beef:
    • 2 eggs

    • Grated potato and carrot
    • Chopped bell pepper
    • Chives and parsley
    • Crushed garlic
    • Salt, black pepper, paprika
    • Mozzarella cheese
    • Cream cheese
  2. Mix everything thoroughly using your hands until fully combined and smooth.

Step 3: Shape the Patties

  1. Place the mixture onto a plastic sheet or bag.
  2. Spread and shape it into a large rectangle.
  3. Using a round cutter (or any container), cut into equal portions.
  4. Press each portion slightly to maintain shape.

Step 4: Prepare for Baking

  1. Preheat oven to 356°F (180°C).
  2. Grease a baking tray with olive oil.
  3. Arrange the patties side by side on the tray.
  4. Use a spoon to make shallow cuts/indentations on top of each patty (for even cooking and texture).

Step 5: Bake

  1. Place the tray in the oven.
  2. Bake for 40 minutes or until:
    • Fully cooked
    • Golden on top
    • Juicy inside

Step 6: Serve

  1. Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes.
  2. Serve hot.
