For the Sauce:

  • ½ onion (finely chopped)

  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Cut the Potatoes

  1. Peel (optional) and cut potatoes into thin strips (fries shape).
  2. Transfer them into a bowl.

Step 2: Soak the Potatoes

  1. Add enough water to fully cover the fries.
  2. Mix slightly and let them sit for a few minutes (removes excess starch).

Step 3: Dry the Potatoes

  1. Drain the water.
  2. Spread the fries on a clean kitchen towel.
  3. Pat them dry completely (very important for crispiness).

Step 4: Prepare the Coating

  1. Place the dried potatoes back into a bowl.

    • Salt
    • Garlic powder
    • Black pepper
    • Dried parsley
    • Paprika
    • Wheat flour
  3. Mix well using your hands until all fries are evenly coated.

Step 5: Fry the Fries

  1. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the coated fries in batches.
  3. Fry until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Step 6: Prepare the Sauce

  1. In a bowl, add:
    • Chopped onion
    • Mayonnaise
    • Ketchup
    • Mustard
    • Black pepper
  2. Mix everything well until combined.

Step 7: Final Step

  1. Add the fried crispy fries into the sauce.
  2. Toss gently until well coated.
