Bread-Wrapped Fried Eggs


Ingredients

For the Eggs:

  • 5–6 boiled eggs
  • 10 slices of bread (crust removed)
  • Wooden skewers (optional, for handling)
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Oil (for deep frying)

For the Sauce:

  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • A pinch of black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Eggs

  1. Boil the eggs and let them cool completely.
  2. (Optional) Insert a wooden skewer into each egg for easy handling.

Step 2: Prepare the Bread

  1. Take 10 slices of bread.
  2. Remove the crusts from all slices.
  3. Flatten each slice slightly using a rolling pin.

Step 3: Wrap the Eggs

  1. Place one boiled egg on a slice of bread.
  2. Cover it with another slice of bread.
  3. Gently press and wrap the bread around the egg, sealing it completely.
  4. Repeat the process for all eggs.

Step 4: Coat with Cheese

  1. Roll or coat each bread-wrapped egg with grated Parmesan cheese.
  2. Press lightly so the cheese sticks well.

Step 5: Fry the Eggs

  1. Heat plenty of oil in a deep pan on medium heat.
  2. Once the oil is hot, carefully add the prepared eggs.
  3. Fry until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove and place on tissue paper to absorb excess oil.

Step 6: Prepare the Sauce

  1. In a bowl, add:
    • Mayonnaise
    • Mustard
    • Ketchup
    • BBQ sauce
    • Honey
  2. Add black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Mix everything well until smooth and creamy.

🍽️ Serving

  • Serve the crispy eggs hot with the prepared sauce.
  • You can cut them in half for a beautiful inside view.
  • Perfect as a snack, party appetizer, or evening treat.

  • You can add spices or herbs to the bread for extra flavor.
  • Try different cheeses like mozzarella for a cheesy pull effect.
  • Adjust sauce ingredients to your taste.
