Crispy Banana Bites

 

Ingredients

For the Banana Dough:

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup wheat flour

For Frying:

  • Oil (for deep frying)

For Coating:

  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder

For Chocolate Sauce:

  • 200 grams chocolate
  • 1 cup heavy cream

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Bananas

  1. Place whole bananas (with peel) in a pot of hot water.
  2. Boil for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Remove and let them cool slightly.
  4. Peel using a fork (they’ll be soft).
  5. Mash the bananas thoroughly until smooth.

Step 2: Make the Batter

  1. Add 1 egg to the mashed bananas.
  2. Mix well until fully combined.
  3. Gradually add 1 cup wheat flour.
  4. Mix until you get a smooth, thick batter (no lumps).

Step 3: Prepare for Frying

  1. Transfer the batter into a piping bag.
  2. Heat oil in a deep pan on medium heat.

Step 4: Fry the Banana Bites

  1. Pipe small portions of batter directly into hot oil.
  2. Fry until golden brown on one side.
  3. Flip and cook the other side evenly.
  4. Remove and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.

Step 5: Cinnamon Sugar Coating

  1. In a bowl, mix:
    • ½ cup sugar
    • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
  2. Roll the warm fried bites in this mixture until fully coated.

Step 6: Prepare Chocolate Sauce

  1. Melt 200 grams chocolate in the microwave (in short intervals).
  2. Add 1 cup heavy cream.
  3. Mix until smooth and glossy.
  4. Transfer to a piping bag.

Step 7: Final Touch

  1. Drizzle the chocolate sauce over the banana bites.

  • Serve warm for best taste and texture
  • Perfect for breakfast, dessert, or tea-time snack

💡 Tips

  • Use ripe bananas for natural sweetness.
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan while frying.
  • You can also stuff chocolate inside before frying for a surprise filling.
  • Add vanilla essence for extra flavor.
